What You Can Expect:
* Telemetry Monitor Technician position with our Nampa Telemetry unit.
* Flex Night Shift (1 x 12 hour shift per week). Shifts will be variable days of the week/weekend.
* In this role, you will be responsible for accurate record keeping, observation of monitors and prompt reporting of cardiac rhythm changes.
* Eligible to apply for scholarships to pursue nursing education

Responsibilities:
The Telemetry/Monitor Technician is responsible for accurate record keeping, observation of monitors and prompt reporting of cardiac rhythm changes.
* Through documentation and oral communication, essential information is shared with health care team members and others common to the unit/area(s) of assignment.
* Recognizes, records and reports dysrhythmia and rhythm changes. Assists with cardiac rhythm interpretation.
* Maintains inventory and order supplies as necessary.
* Oversees cardiac monitoring, including applying electrocardiography leads.
* Prepare, maintain, and interpret telemetry records and systems.
* Transcribe and ensure that physicians orders are processed and patient follow up needs are met.
* Explains procedures and provides instructions to patients.
* Handles moderately complex issues and problems, and refers more complex issues to higher level staff.
* Possesses solid working knowledge of subject matter.
* May perform Unit Secretary functions. May troubleshoot technical monitor problems.
* Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
