We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Technology Sourcing Manager II to join our Transport Procurement team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in technology procurement, vendor management, contract negotiation, and a deep understanding of Transport Networks. As a Technology Sourcing Manager, you will be responsible for identifying, evaluating, and managing relationships with technology vendors to ensure the best value and quality for DISH Wireless.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and maintain strategic relationships with technology vendors, evaluate performance, negotiate contracts, and ensure vendor compliance
* Implement sourcing strategies for Transport products and services, aligning with DISH Wireless's business goals
* Conduct market analysis to identify potential vendors, assess trends, and stay informed about new technologies
* Lead contract negotiations with technology vendors, ensuring favorable terms and compliance with regulatory and financial requirements
* Identify cost-saving opportunities through effective sourcing strategies and process improvements
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand technology needs and ensure timely procurement of products and services
Qualifications:
Education and Experience:
* Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Information Technology, or a related field
* MBA or equivalent advanced degree is a plus
* Minimum of 3 years of experience in technology procurement, sourcing, or vendor management, preferably within the telecommunications or wireless industry
Skills and Qualifications:
* Strong understanding of technology products and services, fiber optic networks, interconnection agreements, and datacenters
* Proven experience in contract negotiation and vendor management
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders and external vendors
* Proficiency in procurement software and tools, as well as Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
* Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
