Practical Information Location: Amsterdam, Netherlands | Reports to: Team Lead - Project Management | Work Arrangement: Hybrid | Visa Requirements: Valid Visa for The Netherlands | Language Requirements: Fluent in Dutch and English (written and spoken) At SoftwareOne, we're on the hunt for a talented IT Project Manager to lead cutting-edge projects and deliver exceptional results for our customers. As part of our team, you'll be the captain steering projects to success - on time, within budget, and aligned with our renowned pmONE Project Delivery Framework. Collaborating with a diverse group of experts (architects, analysts, consultants, and more), you'll ensure every milestone is met with precision and every challenge is tackled head-on. Key responsibilities * Drive Success: Plan, organize, and manage small to medium-sized IT projects, ensuring they meet scope, timeline, and quality goals * Lead the Team: Support and guide a top-notch project team, fostering collaboration and championing innovation * Stay on Track: Oversee project documentation, facilitate resource identification, and keep stakeholders informed with regular status updates * Shape the Future: Identify new opportunities within projects and contribute to early qualification and assessment * Mind the Budget: Control costs and ensure projects remain financially healthy * Build Relationships: Manage client relationships and collaborate with corporate teams, customers, and third-party vendors to deliver exceptional solutions * Improve Processes: Promote knowledge sharing, provide training to the project team, and support continuous improvement Qualifications: * Demonstrated experience as a project manager, ideally in a systems integrator or large service organization, and you're PMP/Prince2 certified * Technical expertise with project management tools and methodologies (PMP, PMI, Prince2) and understanding project financial accounting * A proactive teammate with the aim of meeting goals and supporting others * Driven and motivated individual who takes ownership of their work * Eager to grow in a consulting environment where every day is an opportunity to make an impact
