Overview: The Test Lab Technician position is responsible for providing support for product development under Engineering management's general supervision. Responsibilities: * Perform environmental tests on electronic and electromechanical devices in accordance with UL, CSA, IEC and governmental standards Interpret test results, perform data analysis and create written reports * Assist in the selection and procurement of supplies * Assist in the construction of specialized test fixtures and equipment * Provide interpretation of standards * Test, maintain and evaluate equipment performance * Local Essential Function (Intense Lighting, Anaheim CA): Assemble product samples for testing and evaluation as well as a modest amount of fabrication and or surface finishing as required for any components needed to build the product samples Qualifications: * Familiarity and use of test equipment * Working knowledge of instrumentation and wiring systems * Familiarity with UL, CSA, IEC and government standards and test procedures * Knowledge of general machine shop work * General knowledge of household and industrial electrical devices and wiring in accordance with the National Electric Code
