About the Job:

Put your experience to work as an Application Engineer in the dynamic and challenging environment of Keysight's Application and Technical Support team.

Every day you will have the opportunity to impact the success of multiple customers as they work on the forefront of technology. To stay on top of your career you will be provided access to the breadth of Keysight's electronic measurement equipment, training with our product development teams, and partner closely with the R&D and the sales teams across Keysight.

You will be trained to help Keysight's customers select and utilize the right solutions for their electrical and electronics testing needs across a breadth of industries including automotive, wireless, aerospace, education, and semiconductor.

About the Team:

You will be part of our European Keysight Technical and Application Support team, supporting our customers and strategic partners across > 15 countries; and working in collaboration with our engineering and product development teams to resolve a variety of highly complex technical issues.

Responsibilities:

* Assist Keysight's customers and sales partners to provide timely and effective application support towards resolving technical problems of varied scope and complexity.
* Support customers how to use our products, including help with software automation, and resolve complex technical problems by helping to write custom software code.
* Work with R&D teams to ensure HW/SW new product introduction (NPI) support readiness, provide product enhancements feedback, prioritize, and drive for defect fix resolution.
* Share expertise through the creation of technical article content.
* Track customer interactions, document each case resolution, and ensure customer commitments are satisfied, using Keysight's case management system.
* Provide early-stage pre-sales technical support to customer, translating their technical objectives into Keysight product (HW/SW) offerings.
* Leverage post-sales interactions with customers, to investigate more broadly and provide highly qualified opportunities to sales.

Qualifications:

* Bachelor and/or Master's degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent scientific discipline
* At least 5 years relevant experience as a test engineer, design engineer or application engineer
* Practical experience using Test & Measurement instrumentation such as function generators, power supplies, digital multimeters, data acquisition.
* Relevant experience working in Impedance Analysis, DC Device Parameter Analysis, SMU
* Programming skills applied in a T&M environment, using SCPI and languages such as: C#, .NET, C++, VB, Python, LabView or VEE Pro
* Advanced English skills written and verbal. Additional languages are a plus.
* Strong organisational skills, ability to multi-task, prioritise and work well under pressure.
* Understands the T&M market, customer needs and dynamics, strong communicator who can positively interact with customers

Nice to have
* Experience as design validation engineer, or test engineer in the Digital domain, High Speed Digital signals and/or in one or more standards (HDMI, USB, DDR, MIPI, Ethernet...)
* Understanding of RF/ W fundamentals with practical experience using RF/ W test equipment.
* Understanding of the generation, demodulation and analysis of digital communication signals.
