* Lead and manage the technical team, coordinating closely with planning, procurement, construction, project management, and other disciplines to ensure effective project execution.

* Lead, manage, and oversee lead design consultants and multidisciplinary design teams, ensuring effective coordination across structural engineering, façade systems, architecture, and associated building disciplines.

* Oversee the development, review, and approval of architectural and engineering designs, ensuring compliance with client requirements, project specifications, contractual obligations, applicable regulations, and international industry standards.

* Review and provide technical oversight of structural engineering designs and façade systems, ensuring structural integrity, façade performance, durability, safety, buildability, and compliance with project requirements.

* Direct and monitor all technical aspects of project delivery, ensuring that design outputs and construction activities meet the required quality standards, agreed scope, budget, and programme.

* Work closely with Project Managers and discipline leads to ensure all technical deliverables are coordinated, fit for purpose, and aligned with project objectives, design standards, regulatory requirements, and client expectations.

* Monitor the technical performance of lead design consultants, ensuring timely delivery of design packages, technical submissions, calculations, specifications, and construction documentation in accordance with agreed project milestones.

Structural Engineering and Facade Expertise
* Provide expert technical advice on structural engineering, façade design, building envelope performance, material selection, buildability, design optimisation, and construction interfaces.

* Lead the resolution of complex structural and façade engineering challenges, ensuring designs are technically robust, coordinated, cost-effective, and suitable for construction.

* Oversee design reviews and technical submissions to ensure compliance with project specifications, applicable Saudi building regulations, international codes, and relevant engineering standards.

* Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, façade consultants, specialist subcontractors, and contractors to resolve design interfaces and minimise technical conflicts during design and construction.

* Advise clients on technical matters affecting scope, cost, programme, quality, structural performance, façade performance, and overall project delivery.

* Identify and resolve technical, managerial, and administrative issues, ensuring effective coordination, timely decision-making, and successful project delivery.

* Ensure compliance with local building codes, international standards, sustainability requirements, and relevant statutory regulations throughout the design and construction phases.

* Establish, implement, and monitor robust quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) procedures in accordance with the Project Execution Plan and the consultancy's quality management standards.

* Ensure design and technical deliverables meet the required quality standards, taking an active role in design reviews, technical assurance, and quality control processes.

* Oversee technical resource allocation, monitor project budgets, and identify cost-effective solutions without compromising design integrity, safety, quality, or client requirements.

* Monitor technical progress against project milestones, proactively addressing design delays, coordination gaps, and outstanding technical approvals that could affect construction or project completion.

* Ensure technical solutions are aligned with contractual obligations, project scope, budget, programme, and the client's strategic objectives.

Client and Stakeholder Management
* Liaise with key stakeholders, including clients, architects, consultants, contractors, and subcontractors, to resolve technical issues, coordinate design interfaces, and maintain alignment with project goals.

* Build and maintain strong client relationships, enhancing client satisfaction, strengthening business relationships, and identifying opportunities for future business development.

Team Leadership and Development
* Mentor, develop, and manage the technical team, promoting collaboration, accountability, knowledge sharing, and a high-performance working environment.

* Provide clear technical direction to engineering teams and design consultants, ensuring accountability for deliverables, quality, coordination, and programme commitments.
