Overview:
GDC IT Solutions is currently seeking a Technical Business Analyst to work in a hybrid capacity, with 3-4 days on-site per month in Harrisburg, PA.
Responsibilities:
* Lead and perform business analysis activities across planning and requirements gathering phases of projects.
* Facilitate stakeholder meetings to elicit As-Is processes, requirements, and key business needs.
* Translate business requirements into service blueprints, process flows, Agile features, and user stories.
* Support development of technical specifications and collaborate closely with development teams on solution implementation.
* Conduct feasibility studies and analyze existing systems to identify improvement opportunities.
* Develop and execute test scenarios, scripts, and plans to validate solutions against business requirements.
* Identify and define KPIs, including business rules, ownership, and data visualization strategies.
* Manage and track documentation, features, and user stories within Azure DevOps (ADO).
* Perform business process comparisons against best practices and recommend process or system enhancements.
* Support data migration efforts, including ETL processes across multiple systems.
* Maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including business owners, technical teams, vendors, and clients.
* Provide end-user training and ongoing support for implemented solutions.
* Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation aligned with PMO standards.
* Participate in and lead project team activities related to enterprise system initiatives.
* Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation.
* Work independently to complete assigned tasks and responsibilities.
* Ensure adherence to organizational standards, policies, and procedures.
* Utilize various tools and technologies to support job functions.
* Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
* Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst or Technical Analyst in a technology-driven environment.
* Experience with data analysis and visualization tools such as SQL, Excel, or Figma.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 tools including Teams, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
* Experience using Azure DevOps (ADO), including testing modules and work item tracking.
* Strong understanding of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
* Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
