MPE, a division of Englobe, is seeking a  to join our team in our Saskatoon office.

We're looking for a proactive and collaborative individual to join our team as a Technical Administrative Assistant. In this role, you'll play a key part in supporting our engineering team through expert document control, proposal coordination, and day-to-day administrative tasks. The successful applicant will thrive in a fast-paced environment, enjoy working on a variety of projects, and have a knack for technical editing and professional communication.

Responsibilities:

Your main responsibilities 

* Document Control & Editing: Proofread, format and edit a variety of technical documents including reports, contracts and specifications to ensure compliance with company standards. Review technical content for clarity, consistency and accuracy, suggesting improvements or modifications when needed.
* Proposal Support: Responsibilities include gathering information, formatting the information according to our company's policies and the Request for Proposals (RFP) documentation, and sending the proposal to the appropriate source. Coordinate with Project Managers and key staff regarding content of the proposals.
* Administrative Support & Collaboration: Provide day-to-day administrative assistance to the engineering team and other staff, responding to requests and inquiries efficiently. Work closely with the administrative team to ensure seamless office operations and support cross-functional teams as needed.
* Safety Liaison duties.
* Other responsibilities may include: monitoring the main phone line, guest interaction, mail and courier arrangements, ordering office supplies, arranging catering for meetings, as well as other reception-related activities.

Qualifications:

What makes you unique

* Minimum 5 years of administrative support experience, with a strong focus on technical document control or editing is preferred.
* Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook). Experience with Microsoft Publisher is a plus.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Exceptional attention to detail.
* Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
* Self-motivated with a strong work ethic.
* Strong proofreading and editing skills, especially in technical and professional context, is an asset.
* Technical writing experience is an asset.
* Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.
* Experience in developing proposals would be considered an asset.
* Experience in engineering, architecture, or construction industry would be considered an asset.
* Post-secondary diploma in Office Administration, Administrative Information Management, or a related field preferred.
