Pay Rate: $24.65 to $28.00 per hour, based upon related experience
Schedule: Monday to Friday- Hours worked will be based on the school calendar

Devereux/TCV Community Services Day Academy Approved Private School is Hiring for a Teacher Assistant for its STAIRS (Autistic Support) Classroom!!!
The STAIRS classroom at the Day Academy serves students (age 12-18) with autism and high support needs who are receiving treatment in TCV's STAIRS Program, a specialized residential treatment program for children and adolescents with autism/IDD with severe challenging behaviors on the Devereux TCV campus in Homestead. As a Teacher Assistant for the STAIRS classroom, you will work with other dedicated professionals from the Day Academy and STAIRS residential program who share your passion for helping children and adolescents with ASD/IDD learn and succeed.

Qualifications:
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree with one (1) year of related experience.
* Have a valid PA Driver's License with three (3) year driving history, preferred.
* State Criminal, Child Abuse and FBI clearances, required.
* Be flexible, patient, energetic, creative, and have a sense of humor.
* Experience with Positive Behavioral Intervention and Support strategies.
* Experience working with children and adolescents with autism and high support needs
