				Overview:

We are seeking a Task Order Lead to join our team supporting Defense Threat Reduction Information Analysis Center (DTRIAC).

The Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) IT environment consists of multiple platforms, network, system, and facilities typically found in any civilian Federal Government agency. This includes, but is not limited to, different types of operating systems such as Windows, LINUX/UNIX, and hardware such as IBM-compatible PCs, Apple PCs, etc.  The network and systems are globally distributed, but primarily concentrated in the US.  The environment is a 24x7x365 supported system where security plays a key role.

The Task Lead will manage multiple concurrent DTRIAC projects and will manage teams comprised throughout a matrixed environment He or she will engage with business and technical stakeholders at varied levels to define the scope and schedule for business and technology initiatives throughout the division. He or she will align key objectives and provide advice as the Subject Matter Expert throughout the project execution. He or she report on project progress, milestones, risks and issues as needed to project owners.

Responsibilities:

RESPONSIBILITIES 

* Serve as the primary point of contact between the task order team and the Government Task Order Managers, Contracting Officer (KO), and other key Government stakeholders.
* Assist the Program Manager in ensuring full compliance with contractual obligations, project deliverables, and performance milestones and
* Develop and manage detailed work plans, schedules, changes to scope and milestone deadlines, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports. 
* Formulate and enforce work standards; Review and approve technical solutions, develop effective schedules for the program and monitor task order performance.
* Oversee the implementation of technical solutions and project schedules to ensure timely and efficient execution of work.
* Resolve project issues, allocate resources, and oversee task execution.
* Provide leadership and guidance to the contractor team.
* Submit monthly status reports, 8570/8140 compliance reports, IPR briefings, and other contract-required deliverables.
* Maintain compliance with security and industry certification requirements (DoD 8570/8140).
* Deliver kickoff briefings and task order project management plans.
* Manage and maintain an integrated master project schedule for all active projects.
* Submit CPAR evaluations and improvement recommendations to the COR or KO.
* Recommend and take action on the analysis and solutions of problems. 
* Meet regularly with business and technology owners to define business and technical requirements and develop corresponding implementation plans. 
* Plan course of projects, including milestones, resources required, cross-functional dependencies, use of technology and tools and document in project plan, following established project management methodology. 
* Proactively manage project dependencies, risks, action items and blockers. Assist the team to remove roadblocks and manages dependencies. Communicate and escalate as needed. 
* Manages team data, metrics and analyzes trends
* Serve as the ABQ lead and POC for smaller local contracts where TekSynap is a subcontractor.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS 

* 5+ years' IT management experience 
* 3+ years' experience of relevant project/program management in fast-paced operations group 
* Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification preferred 
* B.S. degree in a related field 
* Possess functional knowledge of ITIL concepts and principles (ITIL Foundations Certification preferred) 
* Possess functional knowledge of security and vulnerability management concepts and principles (CISSP certification highly desirable) 
* Demonstrated experience overseeing all aspects of the contract, financial management, and its subordinate functional and integrated projects of a similar size, scope, and complexity cybersecurity program 
* DoD Secret clearance required with a Top-Secret clearance strongly preferred.  Must be able to obtain and possess a DoD Top Secret/SCI. 
* Exceptional communication and presentation skills
