Attend all scheduled classes

Be attentive and responsive during class with the understanding and expectation that this role always delivers superior guest service. 

Participate as requested, be professional in dress and demeanor

Be courteous and respectful to Team Members and Guests

Adhere to all Greektown Casino-Hotel policies and procedures

Become skilled in dealing and accuracy while courteously interacting with Guests

Successful completion of an audition for all games for which you received training to be considered for potential employment with Greektown Casino Hotel

Apply skill in dealing with individual games, providing prompt, accurate and courteous service in accordance with policies and procedures.

Accurately conduct customer transactions for "buy- ins," "pay- offs", markers, etc.

Verify fills and credits to the game.

Accurately verify the table inventory.

Notify Games Supervisor of any irregularities in the play and/or transactions during the shift.

Adhere to appropriate gaming regulations, policies and procedures.

Take losing bets and pay winning bets according to established rules and procedures.

Other job-related duties as assigned.

Fulfilling the requirements of a Trainee and successfully completing the Trainee program excels your opportunities to becoming a Table Games Dealer with Greektown Casino  Hotel.

While in dealer school, this is an unpaid, no-cost to you, program. Part-Time positions may be offered (but not guaranteed) after successful completion of the training. Only after a job offer has been made, applicants must pass a background check, drug screening, and obtain an MGCB occupational license level 2 in order to start.

Requirements:

Excellent communication skills; understand and comply with all Company and departmental rules and regulations, policies and procedures

Ability to read, write, and communicate verbally in English

Ability to perform basic math; skill in providing customers with an exceptionally enjoyable experience while performing functions of the position

High school education or equivalent required.

Ability to obtain a Michigan Gaming Control Board License Level Two (2) (upon offer of a position)
