Responsibilities:
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Creates and ensures a fun-filled and entertaining environment where the flawless delivery and execution of service excellence are paramount.
* Provides accurate and efficient dealing at assigned table games by providing the rules of the game to guests, according to state and facility established requirements.
* Adheres to all company and departmental policies and procedures and state regulations as it relates to this position.
* Ability to calculate odds quickly and accurately to pay winning bets and collect losing bets.
* Performs accurate chip and cash transactions.
* Maintains game security and protects company assets at all times.
* Enthusiastically supports, actively promotes and demonstrates superior customer service in accordance with department and company standards and programs.
* Performs all other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
* Previous dealing experience preferred.
* Knowledge of multiple table games preferred; Blackjack/Craps or Blackjack/Roulette.
* Successful completion of dealer school / program required.
* Strong hand / eye coordination and manual dexterity skills are preferred.
* Must successfully pass an audition to determine the performance levels and abilities.
* Must be able to successfully complete the background check and licensing process, required by the Maryland State Lottery Agency regulations.
* Must possess strong money handling and documentation skills.
* Must be able to wear and appear comfortable in the assigned uniform provided by Hollywood Casino.
* Must be able to walk and stand for at least a full eight (8)-hour shift.
* Ability to bend reach, pull, push, kneel, squat and grasp as needed.
* Must be able to work a flexible schedule according to business needs, including evenings, weekends and holidays.
* Ability to perform duties at station assignments that are busy with limited space, have high volumes, diverse clientele, noise, music, minimal and/or bright lighting and variation of climate control.
* Ability to work in a fast paced environment and effectively communicate with guests, Cast Members and management is mandatory.
* Must be able to handle all types of guest related situations, relay all guest compliments and complaints to Table Games Management.
