Overview:
The TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas) Welder is responsible for performing high‑precision welding on light‑gauge aluminum components. The Welder position requires a technically skilled individual with strong attention to detail to ensure all parts are properly fabricated; fitted, aligned, and welded to specification. The position focuses on producing clean, consistent welds rather than complex fabrication work.
The Welder position works out of our IDP facility in Pembroke Park, Florida.

Responsibilities:
* Review drawings, blueprints, and layout plans to determine material and component requirements.
* Set up materials and equipment for welding and fabrication according to specifications.
* Operate TIG welding equipment and related tools, including arc welders, grinders, and buffing machines.
* Perform TIG welding on aluminum parts following provided instructions and technical drawings.
* Inspect welds for quality, accuracy, and penetration.
* Test welded products to ensure functionality and adherence to standards.
* Follow all shop safety procedures, welding best practices, and quality guidelines.
* Identify faulty equipment or defective materials and assist in resolving issues.
* Maintain welding equipment in proper working condition.
* Keep workstations clean and safe, adhering strictly to safety protocols related to heat, sparks, and welding processes.
Qualifications:
* Proficiency in TIG welding techniques and knowledge of various welding positions.
* Ability to work with different metals and alloys, including thin or complex materials.
* Ability to read and interpret blueprints, welding codes, and technical drawings.
* Strong attention to detail and precision in executing welds.
* Good manual dexterity and ability to safely handle welding tools and materials.
* Ability to multitask and adapt effectively in a fast‑paced environment.
* Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
Work Environment & Physical Demands
* Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
* Ability to handle heavy materials and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
* Able to work in an environment where noise levels may be higher due to machinery/equipment usage.
