Responsibilities:

The position operates and manages critical C2 VTC systems.  The Tier II Bridging Technician sets up all VTC and UTEL connections in support of HQ AMC worldwide operations, enabling the military's Global Logistics missions in direct support of the war fighter.

Qualifications:
Essential Duties & Job Functions:
* Actively monitors and supports all senior level VTC/Unified Communications (UC) events.
* Handles IT issues from Tier I escalation.
* Provides user assistance to mission UC/IT specific applications and elevate using established escalation procedures.
* Monitors UC sessions, HW, SW, networks, the Internal Campus Area Network (ICAN) UC infrastructure hosting AMC mission and business applications, and the interconnectivity to ensure all are working properly and take measures to avoid or resolve network issues as they arise.
* Sets up and maintains VTC and A/V equipment in Government conference rooms, labs, auditoriums, and decision centers, and other locations; and maintain, operate, and schedule multi-point communications, and multiple network link encryptions where installed.
* Provides incident management for all UC systems using the Government-provided service desk system as needed, for the tracking and resolution of IT events.
* Provides hands-on (touch labor) set up and troubleshooting of UC sessions for the UC-Enabled BCCs, the HQ AMC Operations Center, the GITOC, individual offices, and GO quarters with UC capabilities, and other special purpose/unique conference or A/V rooms.
* Provides one hour in-room setup support for all Senior level events and conducts roll call and audio video quality checks.
* Records and distributes UC sessions, as requested by the customer.
* Completes a Daily Status Report that addresses issues, concerns, and anomalies, such as usage, calendar reconciliation, scheduling conflicts, event no-shows, and operational issues.
* Elevates serious or significant operational anomalies to leadership/Government.
* Works in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.
* Performs other duties as assigned.
