Sitting on the southern bank of the Yangtze River, Zhenjiang borders the provincial capital of Nanjing to the west, Changzhou to the east, and Yangzhou across the river to the north. Zhenjiang is known for its natural beauty and green spaces. A park on the edge of town is a spring which was described in the Tang dynasty (618-907 AD) as being the best in Jiangsu for the making of tea. The hilly scenery in Zhenjiang's southern suburbs was considered beautiful enough to be the theme of many landscapes by Chinese painters. Local food specialties include steamed "Crab Cream Buns", fragrant black vinegar, Chinkiang pork, and Chinese style pickles. About You: *You should be enthusiastic, dedicated and responsible. *You should like being around children and be genuinely concerned with their academic and social development. *You should be able to work independently. *You should be able to plan engaging lessons using school provided courseware and your own imagination to delight your students. *You should be able to work in a fast paced environment and be able to solve problems creatively and with a positive attitude. *You should enjoy working with technology in the classroom.
