About Us: Our school was established in 2008, and has grown over the last several years to two schools serving over 1700 students aged 3-18. Our diverse teaching staff is comprised of twenty foreign teachers from four different continents and six local Chinese teachers, and is growing all the time. About Xuzhou City: Xuzhou has a long history stretching back to the first emperor of the Han Dynasty. Xuzhou offers an interesting blend of traditional China along with a quickly developing, modern city. A mix of modern and traditional, Xuzhou is a place you'll find shopping malls alongside street vendors, and modern high-rises next to older, more classical style buildings. There's an incredible mix of sights, smells, tastes, and sounds to experience in Xuzhou, plus it's just a short journey to popular tourist destinations like Hangzhou and Shanghai. About the Candidate: *You should be enthusiastic, dedicated and responsible. *You should like being around children and be genuinely concerned with their academic and social development. *You should be able to work independently. *You should be able to plan engaging lessons using school provided courseware and your own imagination to delight your students. *You should be able to work in a fast paced environment and be able to solve problems creatively and with a positive attitude. *You should enjoy working with technology in the classroom.
