About Us: Our school is a proud and well established member of the largest international private education company. We are expanding quickly in Tianjin and are looking for qualified and confident native English speakers to join our team of professional teachers. Our first Tianjin school opened in 2001 and we now have six schools with over 4000 students are now studying with us. These include kindergarten, primary school and high school students; plus university students and working adults of all ages and English proficiency levels. About Tianjin City: Tianjin is best known as the main port of entry for China's northeastern manufacturing corridor. It's the largest coastal city in the north and is just a stone's throw from the capital - going to Beijing is a 30-minute ride by high-speed rail. Ex-pats find Tianjin to be a very livable city - it has all of the amenities from home including shopping malls, western restaurants and coffee shops. Tianjin has a modern and efficient subway system that includes four lines (several more are under construction) and getting around by taxi or bicycle is very easy. Bikes are the preferred mode of transport for most locals and expats usually pick up a good, sturdy Flying Pigeon at the local supermarket for about $40-50. Tianjin has a rich history and has many examples of old British and Italian architecture. The famous Italian Concession Area has the largest cluster of Old Italian architecture outside of Italy. Other local attractions are the Huanyaguang section of the Great Wall, the Tianjin Eye and Tianjin's Ancient Culture Street. Outside the city centre is Binhai, which includes Tanggu and TEDA (Tianjin Economic Development Zone). These areas are home to much of Tianjin's commercial activity and is one of the engines driving the Tianjin economy. While rapidly becoming one of the most developed cities in north China, Tianjin still has maintained its charm. While living in Tianjin, you can be sure to get the full Chinese experience! About the Candidate: -You should be enthusiastic, dedicated and responsible. -You should like being around children and be genuinely concerned with their academic and social development. -You should be able to work independently. -You should be able to plan engaging lessons using school provided courseware and your own imagination to delight your students. -You should be able to work in a fast paced environment and be able to solve problems creatively and with a positive attitude. -You should enjoy working with technology in the classroom. Qualifications: -Bachelor's degree -TESOL/TEFL Certificate -Native English speaker from the USA, the UK, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Ireland, or South Africa (As per Chinese visa requirement) -2 years of work experience (min. 1 year teaching) -Due to work visa requirements, candidates must be aged between 24 and 55 years Total package of CNY 13,000 - 15,500/month, which breaks down into: Salary: CNY 8,000 -10,000 per month (NET, commensurate with background and qualifications) Shared apartment, modern facility with close proximity to school (or CNY 2,500 housing allowance) Annual Leave: 10 paid annual leave days plus 11 national holidays Visa: Sponsored Z work visa Travel: CNY 9,000 flight allowance Arrival Support: Airport pick-up Excellent health insurance Free Mandarin Chinese lessons Contract completion bonus equal to one month's salary Re-sign bonus (for signing a second one-year contract) How to apply: If you are interested in applying for this position, we kindly request you prepare the following materials: Your resume/CV A recent photograph Scan copy of your passport information page Scan copies of your degree and TEFL/TESOL certificates Your current location and preferred start date Due to the volume of applications received, please understand it may not be possible for the company to contact each candidate individually.
