There's never a shortage of things to do in Shanghai! Job Description: We are an English training school for Early Learners and primary age students, located in Puxi district, Shanghai. Our school aims to give their children a head start through early education programs in our English immersion classrooms. We are seeking teachers who can delight children with fun and engaging lessons, and those who are genuinely interested in the academic and social development of their students. Teachers typically teach between 20 to 25 hours over a five-day week. Teaching English in China usually involves working with young children. The majority of our students are Young Learners aged from 3 to 12 years old and teachers enjoy teaching to a variety of ages throughout the week. Students are grouped by age and ability. Responsibilities: *Deliver engaging ESL lessons for children of all ages and proficiency levels *Lead large group and small group lessons during scheduled times *Provide an immersive English speaking environment throughout the school day *Communicate and cooperate with the Chinese English teacher *Monitor student progress and maintain a portfolio for each student *Attend professional development workshops, and academic meetings with classroom teaching team *Represent our school and participate at campus, school, and community events as needed *Adhere to appropriate dress code for working with young students *Help cover classes in the event of a colleague's extended absence Qualifications *Bachelor's Degree from an accredited four-year university *Native English speaker *Relevant EFL experience, or 2+ years in a related industry *Early childhood experience (preferred) *Must be able to commit to a 12-24 month contract Package Information *Competitive salary of CNY 15,000/month (inclusive of housing allowance) *Assistance finding housing *Work Visa documentation *Contract completion bonus equal to one month's salary *International airfare allowance upon completion of a one-year contract *Accident insurance *Paid Chinese national holidays, plus 15 days unpaid leave *Professional Development Training opportunities throughout the year How to apply: If you are interested in applying for this position, we kindly request you prepare the following materials: Your resume/CV A recent photograph Scan copy of your passport information page Scan copies of your degree and TEFL/TESOL certificates Your current location and preferred start date Due to the volume of applications received, please understand it may not be possible for the company to contact each candidate individually.
