About Us: Our school was established in 2002, and has grown over the last decade to include three schools serving over 1500 students aged 3-18. Our diverse teaching staff is comprised of fifteen foreign teachers from four different continents and ten local Chinese teachers, and is growing all the time. About Nanjing City: With a balance between history and modernity that few cities can rival, Nanjing is a continually fascinating place to call home. Boasting a number of top-tier Chinese universities, Nanjing is a young and energetic city, although a surprisingly large number of parks and lakes scattered throughout the city provide a haven from the bustle of the city at a moment's notice. A short 30 minute subway ride from the city centre will find you in the rolling hills and lush subtropical forests famous throughout the region and give you a taste of a more traditional, rural China. With scenic mountain hikes and ancient monuments only a short trip from upscale shopping malls and Western restaurants, bars, and clubs, Nanjing truly has something for everyone. About the Candidate: -You should be enthusiastic, dedicated and responsible. -You should like being around children and be genuinely concerned with their academic and social development. -You should be able to work independently. -You should be able to plan engaging lessons using school provided courseware and your own imagination to delight your students. -You should be able to work in a fast paced environment and be able to solve problems creatively and with a positive attitude. -You should enjoy working with technology in the classroom. Qualifications: -Bachelor's degree -TESOL/TEFL Certificate -Native English speaker from the USA, the UK, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Ireland, or South Africa (As per Chinese visa requirement) -2 years of work experience (min. 1 year teaching) -Due to work visa requirements, candidates must be aged between 24 and 55 years Total package of CNY 13,000 - 15,500/month, which breaks down into: Salary: CNY 8,000 -10,000 per month (NET, commensurate with background and qualifications) Shared apartment, modern facility with close proximity to school (or a monthly housing allowance) Annual Leave: 10 paid annual leave days plus 11 national holidays Visa: Sponsored Z work visa Flight allowance reimbursement Arrival Support: Airport pick-up Excellent health insurance Free Mandarin Chinese lessons How to apply: If you are interested in applying for this position, we kindly request you prepare the following materials: Your resume/CV A recent photograph Scan copy of your passport information page Scan copies of your degree and TEFL/TESOL certificates Your current location and preferred start date Due to the volume of applications received, please understand it may not be possible for the company to contact each candidate individually.
