About Us: Our teaching team is comprised of ten foreign teachers from four different continents plus several local teachers. About Guiyang City: Guiyang is the capital of Guizhou Province,and is located in the southwest of China. It is on the eastern side of the Yunnan-Guizhou Plateau. The city surroundings are mountains and forests,and because of the moderate temperature and air quality, Guiyang is ranked second in the "Top 10 Summer Capitals of China. Like Kunming, Guiyang is a popular summer resort city. The climate is mild and moist, and spring, summer and autumn are all wonderful seasons for sightseeing. The city is renowned for its colorful culture represented by various ethnic groups and its special landform - Karst. Guiyang is home to more than 30 minority ethnic groups including Miao, Buyi, Dong and Hui. Consequently it abounds with unique folk culture and traditions that give rise to colorful ethnic minority activities. With many Karst caves, the city is even regarded as an ecological model on Karst Landform. About the Candidate: *You should be enthusiastic, dedicated and responsible. *You should like being around children and be genuinely concerned with their academic and social development. *You should be able to work independently. *You should be able to plan engaging lessons using school provided courseware and your own imagination to delight your students. *You should be able to work in a fast paced environment and be able to solve problems creatively and with a positive attitude. *You should enjoy working with technology in the classroom.
