About Us: Our school was established in 2001, and has grown over the last fifteen years to nine schools serving over 4,000 students aged 3-18. Our diverse teaching staff is comprised of over seventy foreign teachers from six countries, plus a large staff of local Chinese teachers and administrators. About Chengdu City: Chengdu is the provincial capital of China's Sichuan Province. It's recognized as the No.4 city in China due to it's rapid growth in economy, real estate, airlines, events & exhibitions, luxury consumption and tourism. Chengdu is best known for the giant panda conservatory, impressive food culture, and balanced development. About the Candidate: *You should be enthusiastic, dedicated and responsible. *You should like being around children and be genuinely concerned with their academic and social development. *You should be able to work independently. *You should be able to plan engaging lessons using school provided courseware and your own imagination to delight your students. *You should be able to work in a fast paced environment and be able to solve problems creatively and with a positive attitude. *You should enjoy working with technology in the classroom. Qualifications: *Bachelor's degree *TESOL/TEFL Certificate *Native English speaker from the USA, the UK, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Ireland, or South Africa (As per Chinese visa requirement) *2-years of work experience after graduation *Excellent physical and mental health *Must be able to commit to a 15-month contract Remuneration: *Salary CNY 8,000 - 12,000 NET per month (commensurate with background and qualifications) *Free shared apartment or CNY 1,500 Monthly housing allowance *Annual Leave: 12-paid annual leave days plus 11 national holidays *Visa: Sponsored Z work visa *Flight allowance CNY 8,000 (paid in two installments; one after six-months, the second upon completion of the contract) *Airport pick-up *Comprehensive on-boarding, orientation, and training *Excellent health insurance *Free Mandarin Chinese lessons *Opportunity for promotion and ongoing professional development *Other bonuses as detailed in the contract How to apply: If you are interested in applying for this position, we kindly request you prepare the following materials: *Your resume/CV *A recent photograph *Scan copy of your passport information page *Scan copies of your degree and TEFL/TESOL certificates *Your current location and preferred start date Due to the volume of applications received, please understand it may not be possible for the company to contact each candidate individually.
