Responsibilities:
The Accounting Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the accounting department, ensuring the accuracy and timely delivery of financial reporting. This role is accountable for the accurate tracking and reporting of operating revenues, cost of goods, and general and administrative expenses. This position will supervise and manage a team responsible for daily processing of receivables and payables. This role also leads accounting system projects and process improvements to support the organization's financial integrity and operational goals. As with all positions at KeHE Distributors, we expect that all actions will be consistent with KeHE's Mission, Vision, and Values.
Qualifications:
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
* 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or management role (transportation brokerage or logistics services preferred).
* Experience with the full cycle close process and preparing financial statements.
