Responsibilities:
The Logistics Account Manager will be responsible for managing a team of logistics coordinators to ensure a smooth and efficient execution of various logistics programs along with monitoring operational performance, fostering relationships with customers, carriers, and warehouse partners, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. As with all positions at KeHE Distributors, we expect that all actions will be consistent with KeHE's Mission, Vision, and Values.
Qualifications:
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES:
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with customers, carriers, and internal teams.
Proficiency in logistics management systems and Microsoft Office.
Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
Knowledge of transportation regulations and industry best practices.
Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to travel by car, train, or airplane periodically as required by the company.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
Minimum of 5+ years of experience in logistics operations, with a focus on team management and customer relationship management.
Minimum of 3+ years of management experience in leading a team.
