Responsibilities: The Logistics Account Manager will be responsible for managing a team of logistics coordinators to ensure a smooth and efficient execution of various logistics programs along with monitoring operational performance, fostering relationships with customers, carriers, and warehouse partners, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. Qualifications: SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES: Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with customers, carriers, and internal teams. Proficiency in logistics management systems and Microsoft Office. Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues. Knowledge of transportation regulations and industry best practices. Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Ability to travel by car, train, or airplane periodically as required by the company. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Minimum of 5+ years of experience in logistics operations, with a focus on team management and customer relationship management. Minimum of 3+ years of management experience in leading a team.
