				Overview:

As a part of the Training and Advocacy Team, the Training Coordinator is responsible for planning, coordinating, implementing, tracking and evaluating activities related to educating the community about family violence. Assist with related activities of The Center for Family Safety and Healing.

Responsibilities:

1. Assist with strategy development and implementation for the overall training, advocacy, community engagement and public education activities of TCFSH.

2. Provide family violence education to diverse audiences within the following sectors: Business, Faith, Healthcare, Legal, Colleges/Universities and Community Non-Profit Providers.

3. Facilitate training and awareness of family violence using a variety of instructional techniques or formats that are appropriate for the audience, such as role playing, simulations, team exercises, group discussions, videos, online resources, webinars and lectures.

4. Support community outreach and engagement efforts by developing and maintaining partnerships to promote and deliver family violence education and awareness.

5. Provide technical assistance to partners to meet their organizational needs.

6. Provide outreach, promote community awareness and represent TCFSH at community events, activities and meetings.

7. Work closely with the team to develop, maintain, update and evaluate the relevant training curriculum and materials on the topic of family violence and align with TCFSH strategic plan.

8. Track and manage training partners and work flow through Microsoft Dynamics CRM.

9. Assess current community and conditions through research and dialogue with partners to ensure programs are aligned with community and industry needs.

10. Assist with websites, online tools and mobile tools as needed.

11. Work closely with Evaluation and Research department to evaluate and improve trainings.

12. Participate on committees, as needed.

13. Maintains an environment of safety for clients, self and others and supports patient safety initiatives.

14. Supports the development of TCFSH by performing other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED

1. Bachelors degree in Education, Social Work, Psychology, Social Services, Higher Education, Communications or a related field required.

2. At least one to three years of experience in managing, leading and coordinating efforts in the community or for an organization.

3. Ability to work evenings and weekends is required.

4. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications required. Experience in Microsoft Dynamics and SharePoint desired.

5. Experience working with child welfare system or knowledge of community resources and family violence services a plus.

6. Experience in public speaking and facilitating sessions with various sized groups and diverse audiences.

7. Exceptional interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.

8. Ability to work with diverse populations to provide service coordination. High level of initiative, self-direction and strong organizational skills.

9. Positive attitude, professional and ability to work collaboratively.

10. Must have a valid drivers license and ability to travel to various locations, meetings and training events.
