Systems Support Engineer

				Overview:

GDC IT Solutions is currently seeking a Systems Support Engineer to work onsite in Chambersburg, PA. The ideal candidate will be comfortable supporting SMB business clients across various environments and traveling to client sites as required.  

Responsibilities:

* Provide technical oversight and guidance to businesses involving their operation of network components. desktops, laptops, wireless devices, firewalls/routers, printers, monitors, projectors, etc.
* Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, software applications, and hardware.
* Strong knowledge of Windows environments, networking, and system administration.
* Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues in a timely manner.
* Plan and assist with infrastructure upgrades, migrations, and deployments.
* Translate technical concepts into clear, business-friendly recommendations.
* Build strong client relationships through professional communication and trust.
* Background supporting Microsoft Server and networking technologies.

Qualifications:

* 3+ years of overall IT support experience.
* 2+ years of recent desktop support experience, including installing, upgrading, and managing Microsoft desktop environments.
* Experience working directly with end users in a client-facing capacity.
* Experience imaging, updating, and patching laptops and desktops.
* Familiarity with phone systems and mobile device support.
* Strong communication and customer service skills.
