Systems Engineer

				Overview:

GDC IT Solutions is currently seeking a Systems Engineer. 

Responsibilities:

* Design, deploy, upgrade, and administer Microsoft Windows Server environments (Server 2025 and earlier).
* Install, upgrade, and administer network devices, including SonicWall, Palo Alto, Fortigate, routers, and switches.
* Perform migrations of mail and files to Office 365, including SharePoint and OneDrive.
* Install and support hyperconverged server solutions.
* Install and support SAN storage solutions.
* Troubleshoot all areas of network infrastructure, including LAN/WAN connectivity, backups, desktops/laptops, printers, applications, and mobile devices.
* Provide technical oversight, documentation, and guidance to business owners and managers.
* Coordinate efforts with external vendors.

Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in an IT-related field or a Microsoft 365/Azure certification.
* 8 or more years of recent IT experience, with at least 4 years as an engineer installing, upgrading, managing, and administering Microsoft servers and network equipment.
* Experience with Active Directory.
* Experience in small business or K-12 environments.
