Systems Administrator

				Overview:

GovCIO is currently hiring for a Systems Administrator with an active Secret clearance to provide Windows administration for Windows Server 2012/2016, server monitoring, and troubleshooting in physical and virtual environments. This position will be located in El Paso, Texas and will be a fully remote position.

Responsibilities:

* Serve as technical lead for a team of System Administrators.
* Collaborate with management to understand system needs.
* Recommend configurations to meet customer needs and document builds for approval.
* Administer large-scale Windows-based environments, commercial off-the-shelf applications, and government-developed enterprise applications.
* Administer and maintain enterprise management software.
* Provide Windows administration for Windows Server 2012/2016, server monitoring, and troubleshooting in physical and virtual environments.
* Configure, manage, and monitor Windows Internet Information Services (IIS) applications.
* Administer Linux and/or UNIX Operating Systems.
* Apply knowledge of database technologies such as Oracle, SQL Server, SQL queries, and scripting.
* Use Agile methodologies such as Scrum and SAFe.
* Provide Windows System Administration including Group Policy management, AD replication, AD PowerShell commands, LDAP queries, and Active Directory Service Interface Editor (ADSIEdit).
* Configure and manage virtual infrastructure technologies, including VMware and Hyper-V.
* Work with network monitoring tools such as ServiceNow, SolarWinds, and/or ScienceLogic SL1.

Qualifications:

* High School with 10+ years systems administration (or commensurate experience).
* Secret Clearance with ability to obtain and hold DEA suitability.
