Responsibilities:
This individual will work on a team who develops and maintains mission software for an IC agency. The System/Security Admin will be responsible for the health and integrity of the client's system, facilitating ATO for their cloud-based applications, and working within the A&A process and associated security controls. Related and additional responsibilities will include running security scans; mitigating system issues; patching AMIs and addressing CVEs; configuring user and event logs; managing cloud-based configurations such as retention policies, user access controls, and auditing procedures; and hardening systems to support and maintain ATO status.
Qualifications:
Required Qualifications:
* Active TS/SCI clearance with poly required to start
* Experience as a Systems Administrator
* System security experience (e.g., security controls, A&A process, bucket policies)
* DevOps experience
* Experience with AWS hosting of applications
* ATO experience
* Experience running security scans and mitigating system vulnerabilities
* Proficiency in patching AMIs and addressing CVEs
* Familiarity with configuring and monitoring user and event logs
* Basic experience managing cloud configurations (e.g., retention policies, access controls, auditing)
* Knowledge of system hardening practices and security compliance frameworks (e.g., NIST, RMF)
* Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate technical issues effectively
