				Overview:

Waters, the world's leading specialty measurement company that cares about inclusion and diversity is seeking for a committed and talented System Account Manager to drive, develop and sustain Waters' core markets eg: Pharmaceutical, Food and Environment and Chemical Materials market in Belgium. Focusing on sales activities, you will be the key divider for the Waters success in this market for the full portfolio of technologies, products and solutions. Our System Account Manager has a constant focus on growth and by developing new markets are able to grow our business even in challenging economic times.

 As a successful System Account Manager, you will be developing new business across Waters instrumentation (Liquid Chromatography and Mass Spectrometry) and software lines in the Pharmaceutical and Chemical Materials market whilst ensuring the retention and customer satisfaction of the existing accounts. The key objective being to achieve the target for the designated sales territory.

This position involves traveling throughout the territory of responsibility and brings you a great degree of flexibility in how you manage your accounts and how you work in the field

Responsibilities:

* All aspects of promoting and selling Waters' cutting edge LC and UPLC instrumentation as well as the combination with mass spectrometry equipment in your sales territory 
* Preparing business plans, territory plans, reports, tender documents and relevant product solution documents for customers
* Planning, and executing the customer demonstrations with collaboration of the demo lab specialists
* Produce consistent year on year business growth.
* Collaborating, liaising and providing guidance and support across departments to ensure customer success. You will be working closely with all other groups at Waters (e.g. Service Sales, Chemistry Operation and Informatics etc.)
* Managing the product mix and pricing to meet desired targets
* Proactive management of key accounts in the specific market sectors.
* Development of new business in emerging segments of the specific market domain.
* Using and updating Salesforce on a daily basis to ensure accurate forecasting
* Provide customers with high quality technical advice and application insights whilst maintaining focus on maximizing sales potential.
* Deliver technical seminars and workshops to customers.

Qualifications:

* You may have worked in a lab previously or had a sales position. Both are great for us in this role!
* Highly passionate individual with charisma, perseverance and determination, plus the ability to work effectively in competitive sales situations
* Strong technical background and or  experience of LC and LC/MS technology.
* A proactive individual committed to customer service and passionate about making processes more efficient and reliable.
* Great problem-solving skills to support our customers address some of their systems challenges
* Spoken and written fluency in Frensch, Dutch and English.

* BSc degree in Chemistry or a related science 
* Results driven, self-motivating, accountable and initiative orientated personality.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Team player and collaborator.
* Prioritization, planning and organization skills.
* Experience in a customer-facing role in LC/MS (e.g. LC/MS sales, demonstrations, business development or marketing) or sales or entrepreneurial experience is a strong advantage.
* Domestic location along the Brussels-Antwerp axis
