Overview:
Specializes in Android applications integrated with cloud-based SaaS solutions. The role focuses on analyzing and resolving customer incidents, addressing complex technical issues, and supporting updates to enhance user experience.
Responsibilities:
* Analyze product failure data and implement engineering solutions for post-release changes and customer-reported issues.
* Support operational teams in identifying root causes and resolving product performance problems. Share failure data with quality assurance and other internal functions.
* Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and quality within systems. Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and stakeholders to identify data issues, develop improvement strategies, and implement governance practices.
Key Duties:
* Resolve critical issues by developing and deploying hotfixes.
* Maintain technical documentation and knowledge base.
* Assist with minor updates/enhancements to improve user experience.
* Generate user data reports for internal and external customers.
* Monitor data quality metrics to identify inconsistencies and develop data cleaning processes for accuracy and completeness.
* Investigate data quality issues, identify root causes, and recommend solutions.
* Generate and document regular reports on data quality metrics, validation efforts, and improvements.
* Support data validation, testing, and conduct audits to ensure compliance with standards and regulations.
* Apply technical and quality improvements based on analysis results.
* Ensure engineering changes are approved and documented for team use.
* Provide technical leadership and define requirements for new tools to solve complex problems.
* Initiate collaboration and build relationships across disciplines and teams.
* Exercise judgment in selecting methods and evaluation criteria to achieve results.
* Coordinate activities of team members and interact with management and senior customer personnel for cross-organizational coordination.
* Lead projects and represent the organization in customer interactions.
* Develop and implement design and process improvements for existing products and document changes.
Qualifications:
* 2+ year experience in Client facing Technical Production Support Experience
* Experience with Cloud Data, Big Data, Apache Beam/Google Dataflow, Spark, ETL and Google Big Query, Google FireBase
* Exposure to Python, Java, JavaScript (Angular or React), and Kotlin
* Exposure to API Testing and Postman.
* Exposure to Postgres SQL, MySQL
* Exposure to OAuth, JSOZ, SAML or with SSO in general
* Knowledge of Android frameworks, and libraries and experience with Android debugging tools
Preferred Qualifications:
* ETL expereince
* Exposure to Cloud platforms like GCP or AWS, Azure is plus
* Exposure to Python, Gradle, Cloud Functions and Microservices architecture is a plus.
* Exposure to NoSQL databases like MongoDB, Teradata, Cassandra etc is a plus.
* Exposure to BI tools like Google Data Studio, Looker, Tableau or Power-BI, or Sisense
* GCP Certification ideal
* Exposure to Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
* Exposure to Internet of Things (IoT)
* Exposure to MDMs such as SOTI, Work Space One, 42Gears or InTune
