Responsibilities:

MAJOR JOB DUTIES:

Duties include, but are not limited to the following:

* Observe and report on all areas under surveillance to ensure compliance with the Hotel and Casino's in-house Regulation "6", Gaming Control Board Regulations, and in-house gaming policies and procedures.
* Record and observe casino games, sports book, count rooms, slots, keno, bar areas and casino cage, cashier areas including all money transactions.
* Know basic strategy of all games and the count(s).
* Write all necessary incident reports.
* Communicate with Casino, Cage, Security and Slot Management with any relative information.
* Rotate all video tapes when necessary.
* Perform technical maintenance, as required.
* Present self in a professional manner possessing a team attitude at all times. 
* Must provide courteous and friendly service to all guests, staff and co-workers.
* Perform related work as requested.

Qualifications:

EXPERIENCE: 6 months gaming experience.

EDUCATION: High School Diploma or GED and some college level courses. Courses in Protection of Casino Games / Casino Operations and Management is preferred.

SKILLS: Excellent communication skills.  Knowledge of all phases of gaming operations, Casino games (Casino, Cage, Slot Operations, and Casino games), and ability to identify methods of cheating.  Must have basic knowledge of video equipment.  Ability to interface with all departments under surveillance, outside law enforcement agencies and Surveillance Information Network.  Full knowledge and understanding of company and department rules, regulations, policies and procedures.  Ability to read, write, and communicate verbally in English.  Ability to perform basic math. Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with staff and customers. Ability to use common sense in making decisions and determinations regarding irregular activities.
