* Lasting Hope Recovery Center (Behavioral positions only)
* Mercy Hospital - Council Bluffs, IA
* Midlands Hospital - Papillion
This Regional Float position allows us to expedite our responsiveness to our facilities with the greatest staffing needs by deploying qualified clinicians who know our policies, procedures and core values. We are offering up to a $10,000 Sign on Bonus and up to $7,000 in Educational Assistance (loan repayment) to new hires who meet the requirements.
This Regional Float position will support our Surgery departments.
* Prepare the operating room for surgical procedures by sterilizing equipment, arranging surgical instruments, and ensuring that all necessary supplies are available.
* Assist the surgical team by handing instruments and supplies to the surgeon and other team members during procedures.
* Anticipate the needs of the surgical team and maintain a sterile field throughout the surgery.
* Ensure the proper functioning and availability of equipment such as suction machines, diagnostic equipment, and lights.
* Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including surgeons, nurses, anesthesiologists, and surgical assistants, to provide seamless patient care.
* Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of procedures, supplies used, and patient information.
* Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a clean and safe operating environment.
* Assist in the transportation of patients to and from the operating room.
* Act as a resource and mentor for new Surgical Techs and students.

Completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program
Surgical Tech experience required
Certification in Surgical Technology preferred
Basic Life Support (BLS) required
