Located in Lakewood, Colorado, St. Anthony Hospital is a Level I Trauma Center where we provide a full range of medical specialties and health care services to Denver and the surrounding region through our state-of-the-art medical campus and home base for Flight For Life(r) Colorado. With four trauma rooms including the T-10 room, a dedicated field-to-surgery suite ready 24/7 for trauma surgeons and specially trained teams, our staff can provide life-saving care to the most severely ill and injured patients. In 2023, we received our exciting Magnet(r) designation! We are so proud of our staff for this achievement, which is awarded to only 10 percent of hospitals around the world. Qualifications:

In addition to bringing humankindness to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following:

* 3 years related experience including experience evaluating and assessing patient injury required.
* Must be willing and able to travel and work irregular hours.
* Must possess strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with a diverse population including but not limited to, athletes, coaches, administrative staff, physicians, volunteers and other medical personnel.
* Knowledge Skills and Abilities (KSAs)Must have computer skills and dexterity required for data entry and retrieval of information.
* Effective verbal and written communication skills and the ability to present information clearly and professionally.
Must be proficient with Windows-style applications, various software packages specific to role and keyboard.
Strong interpersonal skills.

Certified Orthopedic Technologist (OTC) Required

Board Certified Athletic Trainer Certification 

Successful completion of a SMA Residency or equivalent program 

BLS

Valid Driver License: Required: Current driver's license 

Licensed in the state of practice

Medium Work - exert/lift up to 50 lbs. force occasionally, and/or up to 20 lbs. frequently, and/or up to 10 lbs. constant

This is a full-time surgical athletic trainer benefit role that works 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.  We are interested in applicants with a minimum of 1 year of operating room experience.
