Role:
The Registered Nurse Circulator position is for our general surgery team. Our surgical services nurses provide pre-, intra- and post-operative nursing care to all patient populations undergoing surgical procedures. This work includes developing, implementing and assessing the patient plan of care in collaboration with physicians, interdisciplinary teams and the patient and family.
Opportunity to develop and work with a highly engaged perioperative team in a dynamic environment with increasing surgery volumes and complexity. The CVOR team is a very experienced team with a high degree of teamwork in the OR. Opportunity exists to expand skills in a Level II Trauma Center and supportive team for learning.
Qualifications:
Job Requirements:
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, BSN preferred.
Two years of related OR experience is preferred.
Current State Licensure as a Registered Nurse is required.
Certified Nurse of the Operating Room (CNOR) is preferred.
Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS certification ; ACLS Preferred
