St Anthony is a designated Pathway Hospital. We serve residents on the Peninsula including Gig Harbor, Key Peninsula and Port Orchard. Visitors have access to state-of-the-art medical care, including 24/seven emergency services, sophisticated in- and outpatient surgery, complete outpatient cancer care, pharmacy services and more. Amenities include spacious private rooms, a healing garden that provides a peaceful outdoor escape and our award winning cafe.
Our main OR suite includes 6 operating rooms and we perform over 3,200 cases per year, including general, orthopedics, urology, gynecology and robotics. Our Surgical Services Leadership team includes a Director, a Perioperative Clinical Manager, and a Perianesthesia Clinical manager.
Job Summary:
Our surgical services nurses provide pre-, intra- and post-operative nursing care to all patient populations undergoing surgical procedures. This work includes developing, implementing and assessing the patient plan of care in collaboration with physicians, interdisciplinary teams and the patient and family.
Qualifications:
Job Requirements:
* Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, BSN preferred
* One year of related work experience is preferred.
* Current State Licensure as a Registered Nurse is required.
* Certified Nurse of the Operating Room (CNOR) is preferred.
* Basic Life Support certification required.
