				Overview:

Supervises and coordinates all functions and activities related to the clinical nutrition operations of Diabetes & Nutrition, including all satellite locations. Program oversight, in collaboration with leadership, includes leading strategy and program development for outpatient nutrition services for Diabetes & Nutrition clinic sites in all markets including growth, marketing to Novant Health Physician Network and communities. Responsible to Novant Health Diabetes & Nutrition leadership. Provides clinical nutrition services for patients as needed and according to best practice, state and national guidelines.

Qualifications:

* Education: 4 Year / Bachelors Degree reequired.
* Experience: Three years of experience in Medical Nutrition Therapy and nutrition counseling Required. Experience in outpatient nutrition setting highly desirable.
* Licensure/certifications/registration: Current RD/LDN licensure in appropriate state required.
* Additional skills required: Knowledge of organization policies and procedures. Knowledge of fiscal management and human resource management techniques. Knowledge of computer systems and applications. Skill in gathering, analyzing, and evaluating data. Skill in written and verbal communication. Ability to apply policies and principles to solve everyday problems and deal with a variety of situations. Ability to exercise initiative, problem-solving, decision making. Ability to read, interpret, and apply clinic policies and procedures. Ability to identify problems and recommend solutions. Ability to establish priorities and coordinate work activities.
* Additional skills preferred: General knowledge regarding provision of Medical Nutrition Therapy to individual patients. Ability and dedication to delivering compassionate care to a diverse population of patients. General knowledge and computer skills relating to data accumulation, entry and analysis. Ability to work as a liaison between various departmental and specialty groups. Educational and/or research background and public speaking skills are a plus.
