Responsibilities:

As a Clinic Clerk, you will be the welcoming face and organizational hub of our clinic, ensuring a seamless and positive experience for every patient.

Every day, you will expertly manage patient registration and scheduling, efficiently process patient flow, address billing inquiries, and provide essential clerical support. You'll maintain strict confidentiality, handle financial transactions securely, and remain vigilant for any patient needs, all while contributing to a smooth, on-schedule operation.

To be successful in this role, you will possess exceptional organizational skills, a customer-centric approach, meticulous attention to detail, and a proactive ability to manage a fast-paced environment while upholding the highest standards of confidentiality and efficiency.

* Demonstrates the ability to safely and competently perform tasks and procedures according to Medical Center policy and procedure. Including, but not limited to:
* Demonstrates secretarial skills and knowledge to support functions of the department.
* Performs clerical duties as needed by Manger/FLS.
* Responsible for the knowledge and use of multiple clinical applications, including the HIS, PACS, and dictation system that is used in the imaging department.
* Greet and check in patients for their procedures/appointments. This is inclusive, but not limited to, the completion of the hospital registration along with scanning in pertinent information into the HIS.
* Answer the departmental phones with courtesy and effectively direct calls to areas as needed.

Qualifications:

Required

* Minimum 6 months experience in related clerical position or one year experience in a general hospital setting

Preferred

* High School Graduate or GED
