Overview:
***This position is physically located in the Philippines in support of LOGCAP***
The Supply Technician reports to the Property Manager and is responsible for execution of Property Book, Logistics and Inventory Control daily tasks within the Army Prepositioned Stock (APS) or Joint Theater Distribution Center (JTDC) as needed. This role is mainly responsible for Inventory Control and Property Book functions as it relates to all PBO equipment on site. The Supply Technician may be responsible for the receipt, accountability, issue, turn-in, retrograde and/or distribution of supplies and equipment procedures. The Supply Technician possesses a functional, comprehensive working knowledge of the US Army Supply System and GCSS-Army, including both Wholesale and Retail Operations. Individual must be familiar with and have the ability to identify Military and commercial equipment, including a working knowledge of sets, kits, and outfits (SKOs). Experience with all classes of military supply and at the unit level is required; performs daily operations and all assigned tasks in support of APS or JTDC operations.
Responsibilities:

* Performs daily inventory and property book functions using established GCSS-Army supply systems to maintain accurate records of materials, equipment, and repair parts.
* Examines stock/equipment to verify quantities and conformance to specifications.
* Compiles data for reports requested by PBO.
* Provides CDRL data for inventory, receipts, issues, and others support requirements of the Performance Work Statement (PWS).
* Issues supplies and equipment to requesting units. Prepares periodic, special, or perpetual inventory as designated by the PBO.
* Places identifying codes, figures, letters, or marks on articles using labeling equipment.
* Maintains inventory and other stock records using computer terminals and/or LIS, GCSS-Army, with inventory designated according to material, equipment, or product stored, i.e. retail or wholesale items.
* Receives, stores, and sorts unserviceable equipment and materials for disposal.
* Uses good judgment and available information in order to resolve issues and remains objective at all times when listening to conflicting perspectives.
* Demonstrates professionalism, handles stressful situations, and provides a high level of Customer service in a calm and professional manner.
* Maintains an effective working relationship with all V2X personnel and customers.
* Reports any violations of on-duty conduct beyond his/her control to Site manager, APS/JTDC Leadership and department Manager.
* Ensures his/her timesheet is complete and accurate before submission.
* Adheres to compliance and safety policies and regulations.
* Adheres to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), or Work instructions (WI)
* Participates in, attends and/or completes job-related training as required.
* Moves or transports materiel or equipment to other Departments as required.
* Ensures safeguarding and accountability of assigned property, materiel, and equipment.
* Develops and implements Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for accomplishment of daily tasks.
* Implements work performance training when required.
* May be performing other administrative tasks as determined by the Property Manager.
* Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
* Minimum Qualifications:
* High School Diploma required; Associate Degree preferred.
* GCSS-Army Property Book certification preferred.
* Must be able to obtain and maintain successful NACI background for Common Access Card (CAC).
* Ability to acquire U.S. Passport within 30 days of hiring.
* Must be a US citizen.
* A valid Driver's License is required for all Labor Categories in the Philippines.
* Experience:
* Minimum 3 years' experience in Property Book, Logistics and Inventory Control. Related Military experience in Supply and Logistics preferred.
* Must have at least 3 years of consistent working knowledge in the GCSS-Army Supply system
* Experience with Maximo(r) Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) System desirable.
* Skills:
* Possesses extensive knowledge of GCSS-Army (EUM, supply transactions, corrective actions, requisitions, T-Code etc..).
* Must have effective communication and organizational skills.
* Must be able to work with people of diverse background.
* Possesses good Customer service, interpersonal skills.
* Must be knowledgeable of/possesses the ability to identify the Military rank structure.
* Must be able to function effectively with little to no guidance.
* Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite of Applications (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
* Working Conditions:
* Must be capable of working in an extreme weather conditions with temperatures exceeding 120 degrees Fahrenheit. Indoor and/or outdoor environment with very adverse and harsh conditions (i.e., hot, humid, tropical environment with average temperatures of 130 degrees in the summer months).
* Includes some industrial production environment conditions as well.
* Physical Requirements:
* Medium work. Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 30 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
* Work may require heavy lifting, stooping, climbing, prolonged standing, prolonged sitting, and working with or in areas where a potential could exist for exposure to physical, chemical, or biological agents. Employee use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is required for some situations. PPE includes, but is not limited to, head, foot, torso, respiratory, vision, and hearing protective devices. Must comply with all Fire and Safety Regulations and post policies.
