Responsibilities:
The Supply Chain Systems Lead - Transportation role predominantly supports the Inbound Transportation team within Supply Chain. The role also supports other functions within Supply Chain like Replenishment, Solutions and cross functional involvement with Outbound Transportation, DC Operations and external vendor partners. The role provides support for on-going continuous improvement projects as well as future strategic supply chain project initiatives.
Qualifications:
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
* A four-year college degree in Business or related field is required.
* 3 to 5 years of experience with Transportation Management Systems
Qualifications/Additional Skills/Aptitude
* 15-20% travel required.
* Strong analytical and thinking skills.
* Ability to learn new skills.
* Possess a sense of urgency and attention to accuracy and detail.
* Ability to manage large volumes of data.
* Talent communicating effectively both orally and in writing with people at all organizational levels.
* Ability to effectively manage a wide variety of tasks simultaneously and often with time conflicting pressures.
* Demonstrated ability to work productively and effectively as part of a team.
