				Overview:

The Global Supply Planning Team is responsible for translating the regional demand streams into an
executable supply plan. The Team works closely with our demand planners, global planners, Contract Manufacturer(s), and Tier-1 suppliers to provide a forecast and ensure timely delivery of goods into the regional repair centers. Supply requirements are moderated by the Team to ensure that inventory positions are appropriate to meet the demand requirements relative to; product lifecycle, inventory on order and in transit, finished goods and inventory quality.

Responsibilities:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 
- Reviews planned requirements; understands drivers behind net changes 
- Prepares supply plan
- Drives third party commit rates and on time shipment improvements 
- Escalates shortages and manage allocation
- Mitigates constraints impacting supply plan including capacity, expediting, etc. recommend or places
purchase orders. Drives process improvement projects; Evaluates and recommends complex and
best in class supply chain solutions. 
- Typically required to interpret and frame complex or specialized information for presentation to varied
audiences. 
- Requires ability to negotiate with suppliers. 
- Works with key supplier contacts in order to resolve complex problems. 
- Networks with key contacts outside own area of expertise. 
- Receives Limited Supervision, exercising judgment within broadly defined policies and practices in
selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results. 
- May act as working lead. 
- Develops and selects procedures and processes. 
- Develops resolutions where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable
factors and/or frequent use of creativity.

Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree required
* Business, Supply Chain, Finance and related field experience preferred
* 5-8 years experience
* International Supply Chain experience in service and/or manufacturing a plus
