Overview:
The Component Supply Planning team plays a pivotal role within the Zebra Global Supply Planning organization with a primary focus on optimizing the supply of components used in Zebra products. Our mission is to establish collaborative end-to-end planning partnership with both internal stakeholders and external multi-tier suppliers. The team manages key supply planning programs such as TMC BuySell, Strategic Inventory, Supply Assurance process, and the Component Slow Moving Inventory Sales programs.
We are seeking an experience professional to join our team and help realize our mission and expand our footprint across APAC supplier base. In this role, you will utilize existing tools and processes to support Part Shortage Management process, and drive improvements of delivery performance of Tier 2 suppliers. You will also drive agility programs with multi-tier suppliers and provide operational support for component transition projects. Additionally, you will participate in continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing the efficiency of the Zebra supply chain.

Responsibilities:
* Active collaboration in the end-to-end planning partnership with internal stakeholders (Procurement team) and external multi-tier suppliers in APAC region
* Active participation in the PSM (Part Shortage Management) process and system designed to identify, escalate, and solve part shortages impacting our ability to meet our customer requirements.
* Active participation in the weekly Supply Assurance call, providing updates on critical component shortages
* Communicate the latest production plans/ supply commits from Tier 2 suppliers to Tier 1 suppliers and to Zebra Global Supply Planning Team
* Drive improvements of delivery performance of T2 suppliers
* Drive supply agility programs (e.g., buffer stocks, LT reduction, pull-in systems, STI)
* Provide operational support of component transition projects
* Drive execution of dual/ multi source in alignment with Procurement strategy
* Support component resiliency projects to enhance supply chain robustness
* Follow existing open market purchasing strategy, processes, and approved supplier list.
* Reduce our PPV related to open market component purchases
* Achieve operational goals for key metrics
* Engage in continuous improvement activities
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
* 3-5 years of professional experience in sourcing/ procurement or demand/supply planning of relevant industries
* Experience with direct material commodities, including semiconductors, electronics and electromechanics, and mechanical parts.
* Strong communication skills (listening, providing clear and concise information, using proper language and grammar)
* Fluent level of English (written and verbal) as well as local language as applicable
* Data savvy and date driven person with attention to detail
* Strong adherence to processes and procedures
