Overview:
CAES by Honeywell is seeking an experienced Supply Chain Analyst who would be responsible for handling the supply chain aspects of material obsolescence, or Diminishing Manufacturing Sources (DMS); managing the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serving as liaison between program management, planning, and operations. The Supply Chain Analyst will report directly to the Supply Chain organization. This position is located in San Jose, CA. Potential for a HYBRID work schedule for the successful candidate. The expectation is 5 days a week onsite until fully trained. Once approved by your manager, you will be expected to be onsite at least 3 days per week. However, we cannot provide relocation for this role.
Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with Program Management, Engineering, Operations, and Supply Chain to implement and improve process to minimize and manage DMS risk.
* Establish processes, frameworks, and tools to analyze, allocate, and control inventory across various products and customers, utilizing SAP to the fullest extent possible.
* Work closely with Component Engineering to implement and utilize tools which perform market surveys of material life cycles.
* Provide support in evaluating design alternatives from a cost and supplier performance standpoint.
* Develop and implement material strategies and ensure material requirements are met for production.
* Define metrics to measure effectiveness.
* Summarize complex information into succinct impact statements and provide data driven recommendations.
Qualifications:
Minimum:
* Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Supply Chain, or related field.
* A minimum of two (2) years experience in supply chain or other related analysis experience.
* This position requires access to technology, materials, software or hardware that is controlled by US export laws. In order to be eligible for this position, you must be a "US Person" under US export laws (or eligible for approval under a U.S. Government export license).
Preferred:
* SAP or Oracle experience.
* Experience with databases or VBA.
* Experience with coding such as (i.e., Python).
* Manufacturing, Electronic or Aerospace industry background.
* Experience in vendor agreement negotiation.
* Knowledge of FAR or recent experience supporting a government contractor environment.
* Exposure to a networked environment using a Windows and/or Windows-like interface; proficient use of Microsoft Office suite; ability to use Enterprise-wide information systems such as SAP.
Salary Range: Supply Chain Analyst/ Materials Analyst II: $80,000 - $90,000 annually. Applicable pay within the posted range may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, geographical location, job function of the position, education, and experience of the successful candidate.
