One California Responsibilities: Supervises, directs, and plans the day-to-day work schedule of employees and contractors within the Plant Operations and Maintenance department. Supervises the full spectrum of activities for facilities planning, operations, maintenance, construction, contracts, budgeting, and safety. * Oversees and performs major and minor maintenance repairs and inspections. * Provides support to the director and or manager of facilities in the performance of her/his job duties. * Ensures employees and contractors are performing their work (e.g., preventative maintenance) in a safe manner and in accordance with proper procedures when working in patient care areas or on patient related equipment or in other non-patient care areas. * Keeps knowledge and ensures compliance on rules, regulations, licensure, accreditation and laws applicable to hospital and department operations including all infection control procedures. Qualifications: Minimum: * Minimum of two (2) years experience in plant operations/facilities or related field. * Education High School diploma or GED equivalent.
