Job description:
* Plans, schedules and supervises security efforts for patients, associates and visitors; protects hospital
buildings, assets, and premises as assigned.
* Plans, schedules and supervises drills associated with security response and reports on same.
* Responsible for Environment of care Chapter 2 Security as required by Joint Commission.
* Coordinates the development and implementation of Hospital-wide safety programs as well as the safety and training programs for Corporate and outlying locations.
* In addition, this position is responsible for the management of the Security function.
Qualifications:
In addition to bringing humankindness to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following:
* HS Diploma or GED, required.
* 8 years of progressively more responsible experience in hospital security or law enforcement.
* Associates degree in criminal justice, preferred.
* Bachelors degree in criminal justice, preferred.
