Overview:
The Quality team is responsible for planning, organizing, leading and controlling the Operational Quality function relating to the assurance of the quality of incoming and outgoing product quality and customer satisfaction within a specific site or geography.
This is an onsite role located in Flowery Branch, GA.
Responsibilities:
* Oversees the work of a small team of individuals often in a single site or geography
* Selects, trains, coaches and manages the performance and development of the team Develops, implements and maintains technical quality assurance and control systems and activities
* Defines and specifies the implementation of standards, methods and procedures for inspecting, testing and evaluating the precision, accuracy and reliability of products
* Participates in the reviewing of engineering designs to contribute quality requirements and considerations
* Assists product support areas in gathering and analyzing data
* Establish, maintain and distribute quality metrics
* Provide leadership for continuous improvement initiatives
* Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function
Qualifications:
Required Qualifications:
* Associate's degree in a related field or equivalent supervisory experience in a related industry
* 6+ years experience in Quality discipline including minimum 1 year as team lead / supervisor
Preferred Qualifications:
* Effective written and verbal communication skills
* Must possess strong problem solving, decision-making and analytical skills
* Intermediate level skills in MS Office and ERP systems
* Working knowledge of ISO standards and guidelines Knowledge of quality and statistical analysis tools and methodologies
* ISO 9001, Lead Auditor certification
* Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification
