				Overview:

St. Luke's Health System in Meridian, ID is seeking a Supervisor - Patient Access to join our Patient Access - Hospital Registration team.

Position Summary:

The successful candidate will be a working supervisor responsible for the management of day-to-day operations and coordination of department according to assigned scope. This role will supervise leads plus a team of 20+ employees. This person must have the flexibility to work one rotational weekend each month. If you are action oriented with a drive for process, have previous supervisory experience, and can work independently leading a strong Patient Support Team - this role is for you.  

Responsibilities: 

* Provides day-to-day oversight to a team of Patient Access professionals.
* Provides leadership, guidance, counseling and continuing education to staff.
* Selects, develops, coaches, mentors and assesses performance of staff.
* Ensures compliance of policies/practices for department and provides support for adherence.
* Performs difficult and complex duties requiring advanced techniques, extensive and diversified knowledge within specialized areas.
* Makes decisions independently and authorizes actions as needed.
* Develops solutions to a variety of complex problems.
* In collaboration with Leadership, designs, develops and implements focused strategies.
* Participates in the budget and goal setting process.
* Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications: 

* Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent
* Experience: 4 years relevant experience.
* Licenses/Certifications: None
* Previous supervisor experience, EPIC and/or TASS experience preferred.

* Provides day-to-day oversight to a team of Patient Access professionals. 

* Provides leadership, guidance, counseling and continuing education to staff. 

* Selects, develops, coaches, mentors and assesses performance of staff. 

* Ensures compliance of policies/practices for department and provides support for adherence. 

* Performs difficult and complex duties requiring advanced techniques, extensive and diversified knowledge within specialized areas. 

* Makes decisions independently and authorizes actions as needed. 

* Develops solutions to a variety of complex problems. 

* In collaboration with Leadership, designs, develops and implements focused strategies. 

* Assists in hiring, training, performance evaluations and disciplinary actions required with staff. 

* Participates in the budget and goal setting process. 

* Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

* Education: Associates degree or experience in lieu of degree
* Experience: 4 years relevant experience
