Overview:
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Mammography and Ultrasound Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of two or more imaging departments, ensuring an exemplary patient experience, delivery of high quality services and regulatory compliance requirements. Coordinates the activities of Mission Partners performing imaging procedures in collaboration with the Medical Imaging Manager. Responsible for staffing and ensuring appropriate coverage. May perform direct patient care/imaging as qualified to assist with department workflow. Assists the Manager in financial, capital and staff needs to ensure services meet established quality and productivity standards.
Qualifications:
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Education
- Completion of a formal Radiologic Technology program with associated certificate or completion of a four year degree with Bachelor's Degree
Licensure/Certifications
- Diagnostic Medical Sonographer Registration issued by ARDMS or ARRT Experience
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in an Ultrasound modality
- Current CPR certification through the American Heart Association
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience
- 7 or more years of experience in a Ultrasound modality Enrollment or completion of a B.S. program Multiple Ultrasound Certifications under SDMS
