Overview: POSITION SUMMARY: The HIM Data Integrity Supervisor is responsible for daily oversight of the Data Integrity Department. The HIM Data Integrity Supervisor will supervise daily activities related to chart correction, proxy access, Care Everywhere access, identity theft, arrived in error, and potential duplicates. Oversees all education related to electronic medical record (EMR) implementations and upgrades that pertain to the data integrity process. Qualifications: REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Education: Associate's Degree Experience: 3 years' experience in Health Information Management (HIM), medical records, or electronic health records Other skills/knowledge: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software. Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to be detail oriented. Other Licenses/Certifications: Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA) or Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT). Must obtain within 12 months of hire into position. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Education: Bachelor's degree in Health Information Management Experience: Prior leadership experience in Health Information Management Computer software and hardware knowledge within EPIC Results/performance focused individual OSF HealthCare is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
