Assists the manager/director in providing leadership to the Environmental Services department to insure a clean, safe environment for patients, visitors and staff members. Manages the day to day operations of the department including associate scheduling, coordinating work activities among departments, training and mentoring staff, performance evaluations, implementing quality and process improvement initiatives and compliance with all regulatory agencies.

Qualifications:

In addition to bringing humankindness to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following:

* High School Diploma/G.E.D. required
* Two years of previous Environmental Services experience preferred. 

* One year of previous leadership experience preferred Knowledge of TJC and OSHA regulatory standards pertaining to all aspects of Environmental Services. 

* Strong problem solving, conflict resolution, analytical skills, effective oral and written communication, strong interpersonal, and negotiation skills required. 

* Must possess intermediate computer skills.

Medium Work - exert/lift up to 50 lbs. force occasionally, and/or up to 20 lbs. frequently, and/or up to 10 lbs. constantly
