Overview: Founded in 1940, Dignity Health - Marian Regional Medical Center is a 191-bed, acute care, nonprofit hospital located in Santa Maria, California. One California Responsibilities: * Selects, trains and evaluates staff; Establishes and maintains department staffing and schedules, ensuring appropriate number of qualified/competent staff are available while maintaining cost effective staffing mixes and patterns; Ensures staff maintain facility with a high level of cleanliness and that department guidelines are followed * Monitors bed discharge cleaning needs and ensures that discharge beds are cleaned in a timely manner and with a high degree of quality; Monitors daily equipment use, cleaning and maintenance to ensure that all equipment is maintained in an appropriate working condition * Maintains department quality improvement program and oversees the quality of service delivered ensuring that units are survey ready at all times * Supervises the departmental inventory and allocation of resources as appropriate and ensures these follow hospital guidelines Qualifications: Education and Experience: * Associate's Degree or a combination of education and/or additional job related experience * Minimum three (3) years environmental services experience Licensure: * None specified.
